Murat Kaya was born in Istanbul in 1971 and graduated from Haydarpaşa High School in 1988. He completed his undergraduate studies at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. Mr. Kaya pursued master's degrees in Healthcare Management at Istanbul University Faculty of Business Administration and Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, Department of Chest Diseases and the Tuberculosis Institute.

His career in the healthcare sector began in 1999 as a hospital manager, and he continued to hold executive positions in prominent healthcare and insurance institutions in the country, such as Anadolu Insurance, Anadolu Life Pension, BSK, and Medical Park. Since 2012, he has been serving as the General Manager of Medicana Çamlıca Hospital.
As of September 2022, Mr. Kaya has taken on the role of General Manager at Medicana Ataşehir Hospital.
