Between 1987 and 2001, Mr. Ünal served as the Founding General Manager, overseeing health services on long-distance ships in compliance with ILO and IMO standards. He was involved in establishing infirmaries and issuing and inspecting international compliance certificates. He also represented Trophy Röntgen as the Regional Representative in the Aegean Region. Mr. Ünal played a crucial role in initiating workplace health and safety units and serving as an occupational health physician in various industrial organizations. He provided management consultancy services and held positions as a general practitioner and manager in several institutions and private hospitals in Tekirdağ, Diyarbakır, and İzmir.

From 1999 to 2011, he served as a Founding Member, Board Member, Responsible Manager, and Medical Coordinator at Kent Hospital.

Between 2011 and 2014, he was Deputy General Manager at Universal Hospitals Group. He was also the Ege Region Coordinator responsible for hospitals in İzmir, Manisa, and Kuşadası and served as the General Manager.

From 2014 to 2017, Mr. Ünal worked at Medicana Health Group as the Medical Director and General Manager at Medicana International Istanbul Hospital.

As of 2017, he continues his dedicated service as the Founding General Manager at Medicana International İzmir Hospital.
